Everton: Argentinean commentator bursts into song as Dominic Calvert-Lewin scores v Newcastle United
ESPN commentator Juan Manuel Pons broke into song when Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored a penalty against Newcastle United on Sunday.
Calvert-Lewin, 27, scored from the spot to end a 23-match goalless run to help the Blues secure a point at St James’ Park.
After the game ended, a video clip emerged from ESPN South America, which showed commentator Manuel Pons, also known as Bambino Pons, singing about the Toffees goalscorer.
In a video clip going viral on X via a user called @efcharv, Argentinean commentator Pons can be heard singing a catchy little tune, which is undoubtedly going to be sung at Goodison Park this weekend when the Toffees take on Burnley.

Everton fans will be letting the club down if they don’t start signing this at the weekend against Burnley.
Based on Pons’ Instagram account, he usually makes up songs about players as he commentates on matches, which is absolutely brilliant.
Imagine how much more exciting it would be to listen to the dreary Michael Owen, Lee Dixon and Martin Keown if they were required to sing little songs about players when they score?
You can watch the video clip and listen to the song in the embedded post below.
It was great to see Calvert-Lewin back on the scoresheet for Everton though.
The ex-Sheffield United striker has really had a luckless season but hopefully this goal can really inspire some confidence into him going into that huge game against Vincent Kompany’s Burnley.
