Sean Dyche blasted in ’embarrassing’ Everton verdict after what pundit noticed v Newcastle United

Michael Ball can’t believe bad Everton have been at throw ins this season.

The Blues regularly lost possession from their own throws in the 1-1 draw with Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Tuesday night.

That led to Ball taking to social media to bemoan his former club’s ability to build on set-pieces from the side of the pitch, adding that he cannot believe how manager Sean Dyche hasn’t done something about it.

“We are embarrassing (sic) bad at throw ins,” said Ball via his personal X account on Tuesday night (2 April). “How can’t Dyche see this and try something different?”

Will Everton sack Sean Dyche?

Even though they’re on a record-breaking run without a win in the Premier League, Everton don’t look as though they will sack Dyche any time soon.

Firstly, sacking managers costs money. You need to pay them off and then you need to use resources to find a replacement and then hire him.

Secondly, is there anyone out there who can do a better job than the gravel-voiced ex-Burnley boss?

Dyche hasn’t lost the faith of the Everton fans yet. They mainly understand that the plight the club is in isn’t his fault and that if he cannot get a tune out of these players, there’s a good chance that no one will be able to.

Everton are in serious danger of being relegated with a new points deduction looming.

Luton, Nottingham Forest and Burnley will be watching developments at Goodison Park very closely, especially as they continue to pick up the odd points between them.
