Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Onana:

“I doubt it’s a very significant injury but it sounds more like one that is lingering and being managed until the end of the season.

“There’s always the risk of knock effects of carrying an injury and playing through it.

“He appears to be touch and go for the next one and may need a late fitness test.

“Seems 50-50 as of now.”

Onana injury is a worry for Everton

As mentioned above, players run the risk of further injuries if neglect their condition for too long.

The Toffees will be hoping that’s not the case with the Belgian as he’s arguably their best player and has proven himself time and again under Sean Dyche.
