Everton predicted XI vs Nottingham Forest: Sean Dyche makes three changes amid injury concerns

Sean Dyche could be forced into making changes for Everton v Nottingham Forest after new injury concerns.

The Toffees were smashed 6-0 by Chelsea on Monday night (15 April) but the injuries will have worried fans more.

The Liverpool Echo reported on (17 April) that in a “devastating” blow to Dyche, Jarrad Branthwaite is set to miss out against Forest – as well as Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson – after being forced off at Stamford Bridge earlier this week.

However, it isn’t all doom and gloom as there is a chance that Dominic Calvert-Lewin is to be fit in time to feature.

Defensive changes for Everton v Nottingham Forest

Jordan Pickford could reprise his role in between the sticks for Everton despite a costly mistake against the Blues.

The defence is going to be switched up as Dyche combats the injury concerns but James Tarkowski and Vitali Mykolenko could keep their places in the starting XI.

There is a toss-up between Ben Godfrey and Ashley Young to start at right back with the latter playing as a winger in recent weeks. Michael Keane could come into the starting XI as he replaced Branthwaite during the Chelsea game.

Dwight McNeil is set to keep his place in the team while Jack Harrison could come in on the opposite flank as Young drops back.

The midfield struggled against Chelsea and Andre Gomes could come in from the start to steady the ship. This may see James Garner drop out to accommodate the Portuguese midfielder. Abdoulaye Doucoure could keep his place ahead of the midfield and behind the striker.

Beto had the ball in the back of the net against Chelsea but was offside. He had a frustrating performance and could be replaced by Calvert-Lewin v Forest.
