Sean Dyche now at risk of Everton sack – Goodison Insider

Bryan King believes that Sean Dyche is at risk of facing the sack at Everton after the Toffees’ recent form.

The ex-Everton scout claims he has seen the Blues get rid of managers who found themselves in similar positions in the past.

While off-the-field struggles dominate the headlines at Goodison Park, the club’s form on the pitch hasn’t been much better, with Dyche overseeing just one win in 15 games.

And King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – feels that no one is safe at Everton.

“I’ve seen Everton sack managers before in this position,” King said.

“One win in 15 Premier League games? There have been a lot of managers with better records who have faced the sack before.

“He is at risk, but it isn’t just him, everybody at that football club is at risk at the moment.”

Could Everton sack Sean Dyche before the end of the Premier League season?

As bizarre as it might seem to say, Dyche finds himself in a lucky position at Goodison Park at the moment.

In any other situation, at any other club, the manager would be under intense scrutiny if their team had picked up just nine points from the last 45 available.

And while the pressure is no doubt on Dyche, a lot of potential heat has been taken off him due to people being too distracted by everything else going on at the club.

Everton probably don’t have the financial capabilities to sack Dyche at this moment in time, but one thing is for sure, the 52-year-old’s long-term position certainly doesn’t look safe.
