Everton sack decision update emerges on Sean Dyche after damaging week
Everton will not consider sacking Sean Dyche despite the damaging week that saw them losing 6-0 to Chelsea, according to the i.
The news outlet reported on 20 April that the feeling is he is the best man for the job and that the club would’ve already been clear of relegation danger had they not been docked eight points.
The club also like the calmness Dyche has displayed in what is a chaotic time for the club with the point deductions and chaos surrounding the takeover and it’s also had an impact on the players.
The report reads: “For a start, Everton remain outside of the relegation zone despite the bad form. And there is also the question of who would be the best man for this sort of salvage job. Given his experience and outlook, you wouldn’t look much further than the man currently in the dugout.
“An Everton insider previously told i that one of Dyche’s biggest qualities was his calmness, which had been vital during last season’s ultimately successful relegation fight. ‘I can’t imagine many managers would have been able to absorb all of the things that he has had to contend with since he came to Everton and still rolled up their sleeves and got on with it,’ they said.
“It has been pointed out to i that Dyche would have steered Everton out of trouble by now without the combined points deductions that the club have been given this season. That has had an undoubted impact on the players and especially the fans, who are being called to once again go to the well and offer the support that has helped keep the club in the Premier League in previous seasons.
“For all that a damaging week has raised familiar dread at Goodison Park, their on-field fate remains in their own hands. They simply cannot afford to let it slip.”
Sean Dyche must get Everton out of this situation
It doesn’t make sense to sack Dyche because, despite the club’s recent poor form and the damaging loss to Chelsea, the club would still be clear of relegation danger if it weren’t for the point deductions.
This perspective acknowledges the significant impact external factors have had on the team’s performance, suggesting that the manager is not solely responsible for the current situation.
Moreover, the club appreciate his calmness and experience in navigating challenging circumstances, which are considered vital qualities for managing a team in such a chaotic environment.
His approach has been instrumental in keeping the team focused and committed, despite the numerous adversities faced throughout the season.
Dyche’s work is seen as commendable, particularly in light of the difficult circumstances, and he undoubtedly is the best man for the job at hand.

That being said, it does not mean that a response is not needed and hopefully they can show it against Nottingham Forest.
In other Everton news, a senior player may never start for the club again after the Chelsea loss and is now very likely to leave in June.
