Everton: Stan Collymore shares ‘Great news’ after what happened in Premier League
Stan Collymore shared “great news” for Everton on Saturday 20 April as Brentford smashed Luton in the Premier League at Kenilworth Road.
The Bees left Luton with a 5-1 win and all three points, leaving the Toffees and Nottingham Forest outside of the relegation zone.
Everton welcome Forest to Goodison Park on Sunday 21 April for a huge relegation six-pointer, although the pressure has been lifted somewhat after this result.
Writing on X midway through the game, Collymore said: “Great news for Forest and Everton as Brentford go 4-0 up at Luton.”

Despite all of the uncertainty around their own performances in recent weeks, the Toffees could be saved by the complete lack of quality below them.
Luton were shocking against Brentford, just like Everton were at Chelsea last time out, but it is the Premier League newbies who need to win games right now.

Everton have huge games against Forest, Luton and Sheffield United still to come this season and those three games alone could decide their fate.

Sean Dyche will be demanding a response from his players on Sunday (21 April) and three points would go a huge way to survival already this season.
