Farhad Moshiri no longer influenced by Everton fans in new takeover update

Farhad Moshiri is “no longer influenced” by Everton fans as questions still remain over the proposed 777 Partners takeover, according to The Esk.

The Toffees finance expert posted on X, saying that there was “no mystery” in Moshiri being ignorant of the fan frustration at the failure of 777 Partners to complete their buyout of the club.

Everton remain in stasis off the pitch as the US investment fund’s attempted takeover continues to hit stumbling block after block, but Moshiri remains silent on the position that he will only sell to 777.

The Esk summed up the current Blues owner, saying: “There is no mystery. Moshiri is no longer influenced by what fans think.

“He has made that clear with his contempt.”

Everton and Farhad Moshiri takeover update

Everton fans have been enduring their club’s snail-pace takeover for much of this season, as talks between Moshiri, 777 Partners and the Premier League drag on into an eighth month.

On the pitch, Sean Dyche’s side have done brilliantly against the backdrop of this to confirm Premier League safety after 36 games, despite penalties for two separate financial breaches seeing eight points chalked off their overall tally.

As the campaign comes to an end ahead of a crucial summer on and off the pitch for the Toffees, Dyche is no closer to knowing how much money – if any – he’ll have to spend on transfer targets and new contracts for existing players, with several free to leave Goodison Park in just a few weeks time.

It’s fair to say that Moshiri’s tenure has near enough run Everton into the ground, and following several incidents which imply that 777 Partners don’t have anywhere near the financial backing, nor the strong fiscal record, needed to bankroll a Premier League club, another summer of uncertainty awaits the beleaguered Blues faithful.

In other Everton news, senior figures at the club now have “major doubts” about 777 Partners buying the club.
