Everton attacker Lewis Dobbin end-of-season injury claim shared by Doctor
Everton attacker Lewis Dobbin is unlikely to start another game this season post his injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that to reach a 100 per cent fitness, he will have to play a number of bounce games to get that momentum in his legs.
He has reacted to Sean Dyche’s comments about the 21-year-old playing for the under-21s recently in order to get his fitness back.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Dobbin:
“Sounds like Dyche wanted him back but didn’t want to rush him either.
“There’s a chance he could get back to first team fitness over the next two weeks but highly unlikely at 100 per cent as that requires a string of matches.
“If all goes to plan, his training shouldn’t be any different than the rest of the team.
“It also seems unlikely that he could play 90 minutes again this season and is likely to make appearances off the bench if he does play.“
Lewis Dobbin returned from injury for Everton v Luton Town
Dobbin returned to the Toffees first team when he made the bench in the 1-1 draw against Luton.
However, he was an unused substitution and he may not be ready to start a game again this season.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for the young attacker as he may want to leave in order to get more playing time next season.
