The Esk issues Everton takeover verdict after what he heard recently
The Esk believes that there is a real problem with John Textor wanting to buy Everton after hearing him speak about the takeover.
The Crystal Palace co-owned has revealed an interest in buying the Toffees despite currently holding 45 per cent stake in the London club.
However, having heard what the American has said, the Esk claims that he’s not shared why he wants to abandon a well-run club like Palace to buy the Merseyside club.
He said in his podcast, as transcribed on the website on 31 May: “Well no he hasn’t [shared the reasons why he wants to buy the Toffees] and there’s a real problem with the idea that he wants to buy Everton because well let’s go back to the position that he’s in at the moment.
“So Crystal Palace, well run club, gone from being a yo -yo club to being a stable club in the sort of mid levels of the Premier League and with the graces of respect to any Crystal Palace fans that are listening to this podcast you know that is a major achievement.
“I think for that football club given its history and given its resources and you know from my perspective actually I think Crystal Palace are one of the most attractive football clubs in the Premier League in footballing terms.”
John Textor must clear the air over the Everton interest
The importance of Textor clearing the air regarding his interest in Everton stems from the need for transparency and trust.
As the potential new owner, his silence on his motivations has led to speculation and scepticism among fans and stakeholders.
By openly discussing his reasons for wanting to buy the Toffees, Textor can address concerns and demonstrate his commitment to the club.
This transparency is crucial for building trust and ensuring a smooth transition of ownership.
It also helps to alleviate fears that he might abandon a well-run club like Crystal Palace.
By providing a clear rationale for his interest in the Goodison Park outfit, Textor can show that he has a well-thought-out plan for the club’s future, which is essential for gaining the confidence of the community.

As it is, the fans are in dire need of proper leadership given Farhad Moshiri’s tumultuous era and the chaos surrounding 777 Partners.
