Amadou Onana agent true stance shared as Everton summer transfer exit looms
There is an “appetite” from the agent of Amadou Onana for the Everton midfielder to join a new club this summer, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Chris Beesley’s report [2 June] details that Onana provides ample opportunity to generate funds at Goodison Park, having not started every match under Sean Dyche.
A potential sale of the Belgium international – who has been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United – could allow the Toffees more breathing space to keep the likes of Jarrad Branthwaite around for longer.
Beesley’s report stated: “Among the Blues’ most-valuable assets, arguably by far the most-palatable potential big-money sale is Amadou Onana.
“The ECHO understands there is an appetite from Onana’s representatives that the Belgium international takes the next step in his career this summer and there could be similar sentiments from within Goodison’s corridors of power and from Dyche who did not always start the player.”
Has Onana played his final game for Everton?
With Everton possessing several valuable assets, Onana looks one of the likeliest to be seen as dispensable by Dyche – particularly when the likes of Branthwaite and Jordan Pickford glitter the squad.
At 22 and with three years left to run on his deal on Merseyside, the club are in a very strong position regarding the player, who is valued at up to £50million [Transfermarkt].
Although highly rated and bound to command a pretty penny, Onana only stated 23 Premier League games last season, with 11 teammates gathering more starts.

The stance of Onana’s representatives isn’t surprising – there could be a lucrative deal for both his camp and Everton this summer – and it could instigate a chance to be the main man at another club, or continue his promising development at a Premier League or European powerhouse.
In other Everton news, it is denied the club are in a “cashflow crisis”.
