Everton investment claim emerges as takeover timeline is mooted at Goodison Park

Bryan King believes Everton remains an “attractive” proposition for potential investors.

The ex-Goodison scout feels that the Toffees have created a difficult situation for themselves.

It comes after reporter Giulia Bould wrote via BBC Sport (1 June) that a new takeover deal at Everton “will surely play out over months, not weeks.”

However, King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – is still hopeful that investors will be tempted by a takeover at Goodison Park.

“I think the club have created their own issues,” King said.

“It has been clear from the beginning that 777 had problems. Whatever company they have been involved with has had problems.

“Now they need to start looking for another investor. The only good thing is that they’re an attractive club for investors.

“Whoever does purchase Everton is purchasing a big club.”

Farhad Moshiri will be working tirelessly to find new owners at Everton

Moshiri will no doubt be desperate to sell his stake.

After the long and drawn-out 777 Partners saga, the club are back at square one.

If Moshiri wants to recoup any of his money, the businessman should be working night and day to find a new potential owner at Goodison Park.

The Toffees are a big English club with a lot of history.

With the right owners behind them, there is plenty of potential on the blue side of Merseyside.

In other Everton news, the club’s financial issues could block a potential £8.5million transfer.
