Everton takeover long-term objectives detailed as Dan Friedkin makes official bid

Dan Friedkin aims to have a number of clubs under his belt as the long-term objectives have been revealed after his interest in Everton, according to Gazzetta.

The Italian media outlet reported on 8 June that the American billionaire, who’s also a film producer, wants to create a galaxy of clubs that can be closely linked with Roma not just in terms of exchanging players, but strategies as well.

He has no plans of selling the Italian club either, but just wants to expand on his current group of teams.

Dan Friedkin may be a promising option for the Everton takeover

The Toffees appear to have another promising potential owner in Friedkin, the president of AS Roma.

He has presented an offer to Farhad Moshiri in order to purchase the club and this offer is part of Friedkin’s broader strategy to expand into international football and create a network of clubs that can work synergistically with AS Roma, the current centrepiece of his sports portfolio.

Despite this potential expansion, Friedkin has made it clear that there is no intention of leaving AS Roma, emphasising that the Italian club will remain the focus of their project.

This move by Friedkin could potentially bring significant resources and strategic advantages to the Toffees, given Friedkin’s experience and success with AS Roma.

It could be the start of an era where the club is run professionally and that could undoubtedly be a huge boost for the Toffees and their fans.
