Jarrad Branthwaite to seal Manchester United transfer before June 30 from Everton
Manchester United chiefs expect to seal a transfer for Everton star Jarrad Branthwaite before 30 June, according to Liverpool Echo.
The newspaper reported via its website [8 June] that Man United are keen on signing the 21-year-old defender, though the Toffees are holding out for a £75million transfer fee.
It is understood that Branthwaite is happy to stay at Goodison Park this summer, while the club are set to stand firm on their transfer stance for the sensation.
Jarrad Branthwaite to seal Manchester United transfer
It seems as though Man United are attempting to take advantage of the current financial situation at Goodison Park, especially with the uncertainty over the club’s takeover.
However, Everton must stand strong on their requirements if Branthwaite is to be sold this summer.
There is going to be an ongoing transfer saga between Everton and Man United this summer, whether the Toffees have made their stance on the defender clear or not.
The young centre-back has endured a sensational season in the Premier League, and considering the eye-watering fees that the Red Devils have paid before, they have no leg to stand on with Branthwaite.
With the likes of Harry Maguire costing £80million in 2019, as per BBC Sport, and Chelsea signing Wesley Fofana for £75million in 2022, as per Sky Sports, it is understandable why the Toffees are holding out for a decent fee.

At just 21 years of age, he has an incredible amount of potential that is only just being unlocked by Sean Dyche, having built a formidable relationship with Jordan Pickford and James Tarkowski in defence.
Fans were surprised to see Branthwaite omitted from Gareth Southgate’s England Euro 2024 squad, though at least he will most likely be fit and ready for the 2024/25 campaign.
