Everton takeover twist emerges as bidder pulls out of race to buy club
Vatche Manoukian and his consortium have pulled out of the race to complete the Everton takeover and have issued a statement.
BBC journalist Shamoon Hafez took to Twitter to share the statement which addressed the Toffees fans and stated that they deserve to see their club competing for trophies.

Dan Friedkin appears set to be the next Everton owner

Friedkin’s potential ownership brings hope that he can help the club reach their potential.
Everton, a club with a rich history, have been struggling in recent years and has faced financial challenges.
With a £4.8billion net worth, The American’s experience in running a successful football club like Roma could be beneficial for the club’s future.
As Toffees fans eagerly await the completion of the takeover, they hope that Friedkin can provide the necessary resources and expertise to help the club compete at the highest level and bring back the glory days.

The long-drawn takeover saga would’ve been extremely exhausting for the club and hopefully, things get better from here on in.
