Everton ‘study the deal’ as Tammy Abraham waits on summer transfer bids to quit Roma
Roma striker Tammy Abraham is waiting on offers to return to the Premier League amid interest from Everton, according to Corriere Dello Sport.
The Italian news outlet reported in its print edition (page 27, 20 June) that Roma do not want to drop beneath their £25.3million valuation of the striker.
Everton are one of several Premier League sides interested in Abraham as they look to “study the deal.”
Tottenham, Leicester and Aston Villa were also credited with an interest in the 26-year-old.
Will Everton sign Tammy Abraham to play under Sean Dyche at Goodison Park?
There are a range of factors for the Toffees to consider as they look into a deal for Abraham.
First and foremost is whether or not the forward would be suited to life at Goodison Park under Sean Dyche.
Based on his profile and previous experience of top-flight football in England there is no reason to suggest that Abraham couldn’t adapt to Everton.
However, it is the other factors involved in a potential transfer which might prove to be a stumbling block.
With Spurs and Villa also interested in the frontman, Abraham is likely to favour a move to one of those clubs since they are competing in Europe next year.
Therefore, any potential move would likely depend upon Spurs and Villa not following up on their interest.
However, even in that scenario, a deal might still prove difficult to get across the line.

Roma’s valuation as well as Abraham’s likely lucrative wage demands could price the Toffees out of a move.
Therefore, the club might need to look elsewhere for new number nines.
In other Everton news, the club are set for a “very strong” financial boost amid a takeover update at Goodison Park.
