Medical update emerges as Everton eye Leeds United attacker Jack Harrison transfer
Leeds United attacker Jack Harrison is unlikely to have any issues in clearing his medical ahead of a move to Everton, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that if the 27-year-old has been in touch with the Toffees’ medical staff as he recovers from a thigh setback, they may even opt to waive the medical.
This comes after the Athletic reported on 19 June that the Merseyside outfit are moving closer to signing the English winger on loan, making him the first signing of the window.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Harrison:
“He is out with a thigh injury and while the severity of the setback is not clear, it is not something significant that will hinder his performances months later.
“As long as he is recovering per expected with no medium or long-term issues anticipated from the injury, the medical would likely not be an issue.
“They could even opt to waive the medical if he’s been in contact with the medical staff at Everton so it all depends on these things.“
Re-signing Jack Harrison makes a lot of sense for Everton
It makes a lot of sense for the club to pursue this deal as his versatility across the front line adds depth and quality to the attack.
Harrison’s familiarity with the club and Sean Dyche’s system ensures a seamless transition, avoiding the usual settling-in period.

The 27-year-old’s experience and leadership will be invaluable and with Leeds not getting promoted, they do not have the upper hand in negotiations.
