Linfield issue Braiden Graham statement as Everton transfer finalised

Linfield have confirmed that Braiden Graham has completed his move to Everton, with the club wishing the teenage forward the best of luck in a farewell statement.

Writing in the official announcement on their website [3 July], the club thanked the 16-year-old, who set a record as Linfield’s youngest-ever player at 15 years and 137 days and impressed with his talent and maturity on the field.

Linfield manager David Healy also gave Graham a heartfelt send-off as he joins Everton’s U18s team under Leighton Baines.

The club finished their statement by expressing their pride and support, saying: “Best of luck for the future, Braiden, from everyone at Linfield Football Club.”

Everton Move Good for Braiden Graham

Graham’s move to Everton is a brilliant step for the highly-rated teenager.

Signing a full-time contract with the Toffees at just 16, Graham is set to benefit immensely from the club’s storied academy and experienced coaching staff.

Having already made history as Linfield’s youngest-ever player, Graham’s early exposure to senior football will stand him in good stead.

Everton’s youth setup, overseen by Leighton Baines, offers a promising pathway for young talents.

The club’s financial struggles also mean they are likely to lean on their youth academy, providing a good opportunity for Graham to impress and rise through the ranks.

On top of that, Graham’s ambition and hard work ethic will resonate well with manager Sean Dyche.

This move, therefore, not only secures Graham’s development but also positions him to potentially make a significant impact at Goodison Park in the years to come.
