Everton ready more new transfers after Jaden Philogene agreement

Alan Myers has said that Everton are already working on new transfer targets on top of Hull City attacker Jaden Philogene.

The journalist reported via X on 9 July that the Toffees are still on the lookout for more additions this summer at Goodison Park, as well as alternatives just in case.

This comes after a £16million deal has been agreed with Hull for Philogene, with Sean Dyche hopeful of beating other competition for the winger.

Where else could Everton look to improve this summer

Should the arrival of Philogene come to fruition, Dyche will have heavily bolstered his attack throughout the summer transfer window already.

Both Jack Harrison and Iliman Ndiaye have already been welcomed to Merseyside and will be looking to have an impact throughout the final season playing at Goodison Park.

If Philogene does arrive, the final third may take care of itself if Dominic Calvert-Lewin sticks around, but his departure could see another attacking option signed.

Benfica midfielder Florentino Luis has already admitted that he’s “tempted” by a move to Everton [O Jogo, 6 July, page 18] as Kevin Thelwell starts to look at other areas too.

His addition would no doubt be a welcome one for Dyche and Amadou Onana as it would help alleviate some of the pressure on his shoulders across the term.

Although nothing is set in stone yet, it’s definitely one to watch over the summer.
