Everton ready double new sale as Sean Dyche makes transfer decision

Bryan King believes that Everton duo Mason Holgate and Michael Keane are not in the future plans of Sean Dyche at Goodison Park.

The ex-Everton scout believes that with Jake O’Brien coming in, and Jarrad Brantwaite potentially staying, they already have good enough options.

It comes after it was reported that the Toffees will now listen to offers for the English duo, who look set to leave before 30 August [The Guardian].

“I can’t see an enormous amount of money coming into the football with those players,” he exclusively told Goodison News.

“Keane has never been successful at the club ever since he joined it and Holgate showed a lot of promise.

He has now been out on loan, and I don’t think either of them are in Sean Dyche’s plans for the future.

Now, they’ve got a new centre-back coming in [Jake O’Brien], he could be a decent partnership with Branthwaite, but could it open the door for him to move on?”

Double transfer on cards at Everton

With new signings coming in, it is inevitable that exits will follow.

Keane and Holgate have been on the fringes of the starting XI for what feels like years without consistently breaking through, and the curtain may have fallen.

O’Brien has arrived from Lyon to sign a five-year contract at the club [Fabrizio Romano], so he will naturally jump immediately above them in the pecking order.

It may be time to start waving goodbye.

In other Everton news, Boulaye Dia is likely to seal a transfer as the Toffees work to bring in a new transfer.
