Tammy Abraham to exit Roma after new Everton transfer approach
AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham is ready to leave the club after Everton made an approach to sign him, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The newspaper reported in its print edition on 31 July (page 27) that the England star is ready to leave his number nine shirt behind for a move.
Daniele De Rossi’s side wants around £21million to allow Abraham to exit, with AC Milan also in the running to get a deal done before 30 August.
Tammy Abraham would be a statement of intent from Everton
Everton have undergone a summer of change already and don’t look like stopping any time soon.
The club has welcomed many new players such as Iliman Ndiaye and Jesper Lindstrom.
It’s clear that Sean Dyche wants to improve his attack this season after both Beto and Dominic Calvert-Lewin performed well below par during the 2023/24 campaign.
For the Toffees, the last few seasons have been fairly difficult. Especially last term when the club was deducted a total of eight points from two separate PSR breaches.

Although many thought that the 2023/24 campaign would be the last that fans saw of the club in the Premier League, they managed to prove the doubters wrong and survive once again.
They will be hoping to improve their standing this time around, and, should Abraham get added to their ranks, they will no doubt have a better chance at doing so.
His keen eye for the goal and his ability to hold up play could prove vital for the club’s last season at Goodison Park, especially if Dominic Calvert-Lewin ends up exiting [Royal Blue Youtube Channel, 29 July] before the transfer deadline.
In other Everton news, the Toffees are in the front row for the transfer of another Serie A striker.
