Alisson agent breaks silence as Everton want to seal deadline-busting transfer

Everton want to sign Atletico-MG striker Alisson and are already in talks, as per his agent, according to O Tempo.

The Brazilian news outlet claimed on 19 August that the 18-year-old, who has been one of the biggest prospects of the club’s academy in recent years, could be leaving this summer.

There’s also understood to be a release clause in his contract for clubs aboard which is understood to be £51.2million.

Alisson appears to be keen on moving to Everton given his agent’s admission

The revelation by Alisson’s agent that talks are underway with Everton, suggests a strong inclination from the young striker towards a move to the Premier League.

This admission not only confirms the Toffees’ interest but also indicates the striker’s personal desire to advance his career in Europe.

By publicly acknowledging these negotiations, his agent might be strategically applying pressure on Atletico-MG to consider the offer seriously, especially given the lucrative release clause of £51.2million.

This move could be seen as a way to expedite the transfer process, leveraging the interest from a high-profile league like the Premier League to negotiate terms that might be more favourable for Alisson.

It could include a higher transfer fee or better contract terms, thereby pushing Atletico-MG to view the sale as beneficial for all parties involved.
