Sean Dyche names two Everton players set to exit Goodison after transfer twist

Sean Dyche will look to loan out Billy Crellin and Harry Tyrer after Everton confirmed the signing of Asmir Begovic.

The Toffees announced the surprise return of the former Bosnia international via X on 23 August as he penned a one-year deal.

In reaction, Dyche has confirmed, as per the Liverpool Echo (24 August), that the 37-year-old’s move will allow two youngsters to go out on loan.

“Asmir knows that with his experience and knowledge of the club. So Billy and Harry to go out on loan and progress.

“We’ve got to keep the development programme, try to get players out there and improve.”

Everton announce Asmir Begovic return

It did appear that one of Everton’s young goalkeepers were going to be handed a chance as the club’s third choice goalkeeper for the season.

In the latest twist with Begovic joining out of the blue, that doesn’t appear to be the case and now Crellin and Tyrer look set to depart again.

The latter spent time with Chesterfield last campaign and secured promotion to League Two after winning the National League.

It is likely that he could receive offers from sides at a third or fourth tier level which could prove to be productive for his development.

It did come as a surprise that Begovic has returned just over a year after he departed and joined Queens Park Rangers on a free transfer.

The Bosnian won’t feature very regularly which means that Joao Virginia is likely the number two to Jordan Pickford.

The signing could prove to be a positive one for the dressing room at Goodison after a difficult start to the campaign against Brighton.
