Stan Collymore instantly reacts as Everton somehow lose 3-2 v Bournemouth

Stan Collymore has shared his dismay regarding the result in the Everton vs Bournemouth game on Saturday (31 August).

Despite leading the game by two goals in the 86th minute, Sean Dyche’s men somehow still managed to bottle their lead and lose 3-2 against the Cherries.

Writing via X (31 August), Collymore wrote “oh Everton” following their monumental collapse against the Cherries.

Everton need to pick up their form as soon as possible

Everton are once again going through a terrible run of form. Over the last few seasons, it feels as if they Toffees haven’t been able to catch a break in terms of their on-pitch performance.

Whether it be due to point deductions or just a lack of form from their players, Everton have been teetering on the edge of the Premier League relegation zone for some time now.

But, with the new arrivals of players such as Iliman Ndiaye and Jesper Lindstrom, things were expected to change.

And, whilst Ndiaye’s involvement during their 3-2 loss to Bournemouth was a positive one, it still wasn’t enough to make a difference to the result.

If the Merseyside outfit wishes to avoid being dragged into yet another Premier League relegation battle, they really need to start picking their ideas up and re-finding their form.

Because it is unsustainable to throw away 2-0 leads and not expect to have any consequences.
