Everton scrutiny increases on Sean Dyche job as new sack update emerges
Sean Dyche will be under increased scrutiny at Everton following the 3-2 loss to Aston Villa, according to John Percy.
The journalist reported for The Telegraph [14 September] that Farhad Moshiri and Kevin Thelwell gave their vote of confidence to the under-fire boss ahead of the match on 14 September.
Dyche is in the final year of his Everton contract and, with talks unlikely to begin until the ownership saga is resolved, his future is set to be decided by prospective owner John Textor [TBR Football].

The Blues became the second team in Premier League history to lose consecutive matches in which they took a two-goal lead after the 3-2 loss to Bournemouth before the international break.
Given all the talk before the match on how Everton suffered a similar start last season, coupled with the final league finish, it’s now a much more dire situation at Goodison Park as they have recorded their worst start to a season since 1958.
Only Southampton are the other Premier League side to fail to pick up a single point after the first four matches and it’s time to face the reality that Everton are genuine relegation candidates this year.
The impending Everton takeover acts as a blessing in disguise for Dyche, while his contract situation is not a priority [The Telegraph], Moshiri is content with the 53-year-old in charge but it begs the question of how long the Toffees barren run will last with Dyche at the helm.
It is only a matter of time before the Everton faithful call for change at Goodison Park if they are not already, and any case to be argued for Dyche remaining with the club has disappeared after another abysmal display of game management.
Change is on the horizon for Everton and it is looking increasingly likely that Dyche will be left behind once Textor completes his proposed takeover of the club.
