Dan Friedkin chaos emerges as Everton sent new takeover warning already

Alasdair Mackenzie has told Everton fans to “beware” of the Friedkin Group ahead of their impending takeover after the “chaos” they have overseen at Roma.

Reporting via the i News website on 25 September, the journalist shared that he believes despite bringing in Jose Mourinho and Paulo Dybala during their reign, they’ve over-promised and under-delivered.

However, in the piece titled “Everton fans, beware – Dan Friedkin’s Roma reign has been chaos”, the news outlet outlined this isn’t from a lack of funding as they’ve invested “close to a billion” Euros into the club.

Dan Friedkin needs to complete his Everton takeover soon

Although Friedkin’s Roma takeover may have been somewhat chaotic, it feels as if Everton will be in better hands with the American businessman in charge rather than Farhad Moshiri.

Following the Friedkin Group’s dramatic U-turn [Bloomberg, 23 September] after pulling out of a deal earlier in the year, it feels as if the recent news from Goodison Park has been too good to be true.

John Textor was even in the process of fast-tracking the sale of his Crystal Palace shares [Daily Mail, 19 September], which meant that the Toffees had two potential owners on their hands after years of Moshiri trying to sell up.

It’s also no secret that Everton have been poor this term. Things need to change soon and with Dyche’s future now also under a magnifying glass, it feels as if some sort of good news needs to emerge from Merseyside sooner rather than later.

Especially when taking into consideration that the January transfer window is just a couple of months away, with reinforcement likely to be needed should their form carry on as it is now.

In other Everton news, Sean Dyche has been lauded for what he’s managed to do with Iliman Ndiaye.
