Dan Friedkin to make Sean Dyche sack decision once Everton takeover complete
Bryan King believes a decision on Sean Dyche’s future won’t be made until the Friedkin Group’s takeover of Everton is official.
The ex-Goodison scout is keen to see the papers signed and the Friedkin Group officially announced as the Everton owners.
It comes after the Toffees confirmed via the club’s official website on Monday (23 September) that a deal has been agreed between Farhad Moshiri and Dan Friedkin.
According to the Guardian (23 September), the takeover could be ratified by the Premier League within the next six to eight weeks.
And King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – believes only then will decisions on the management be made.
“Well they haven’t said anything about his future, whereas John Textor was quite openly talking about Dyche,” King said.
“However, the first thing which needs to be completed is the deal. It is okay to agree to it, but let’s see the papers signed and the football club handed over.
“Then, the question will be are the Friedkin Group happy with the players, are they happy with the staff? They will be looking forward as the new owners to moving into a brand-new stadium.
“In terms of Dyche’s future, I think we will have to wait and see on that until the deal is completed.”
Dan Friedkin to sack Sean Dyche at Everton?
Often when a new owner comes in, they want to make their mark on the football club. Therefore, Dyche might feel as though his position as manager is under threat.
In addition, the Toffees aren’t exactly performing well on the pitch, having yet to win a Premier League game this season.
As a result, if Dyche doesn’t turn things around by the end of the year, he could give Friedkin an easy decision to make.

Dyche knows that Friedkin is likely to complete his takeover by November or December. As a result, a timeline is in place for the 53-year-old to start grinding out some results and giving himself the best possible chance of keeping his job.
