Farhad Moshiri is unlikely to get anything from his stake in Everton as The Friedkin Group appear set to buy the club, according to Alan Myers.

The Sky Sports news editor claims that the Toffees will have cost him around £750million.

This comes after it was announced that the Friedkins had reached an agreement to complete the takeover of the club.

Myers wrote: "He will get nothing I believe. Yes, Everton will have cost him around £750m I believe."

Farhad Moshiri pays the price for his disastrous tenure at Everton

Under Moshiri, the Toffees might have seen ambitious spending on transfers and managerial appointments, yet this investment failed to translate into on-pitch success or financial stability.

The club's inability to challenge for top honours or even secure consistent mid-table finishes, coupled with financial breaches and points deductions, reflects a strategic failure in both footballing and financial management.

This era was marked by a disconnect between the boardroom and the fanbase, with supporters witnessing their club's potential squandered through poor decision-making and a lack of clear vision.

The Goodison Park faithful's opposition to Moshiri was not just about financial losses but the broader sentiment that Everton, with their rich history, were not being steered in the path they deserved to be.

Hiring a manager like Carlo Ancelotti certainly seemed to be a coup but there weren't too many noteworthy moments during his time as the owner.

Hopefully, the Friedkins quickly bridge the disconnect with the fanbase and get the Toffees performing at levels many believe they can.
