Everton v Crystal Palace team news – Jarrad Branthwaite update emerges

Sean Dyche has issued an update on the Everton squad ahead of their game against Crystal Palace at Goodison Park on Saturday, 28 September.

As reported by the BBC, Seamus Coleman, Armando Broja and Youssef Chermiti are ruled out of the game due to injury.

Jarrad Branthwaite and Vitalii Mykolenko are both available for the game with Nathan Patterson a possibility as well.

Everton have to pick up the three points against Crystal Palace

Much like the Toffees, Palace have also started the season poorly and it may be the perfect time to face them.

They’re not looking anywhere close to being the swashbuckling attacking team from last season that played other sides off the park.

Even the Blues have been chaos defensively and Dyche surely will be working twice as hard behind the scenes in order to get the players to tighten up at the back.

With the backing of the supporters at Goodison Park, the game’s perfectly set up for the Toffees to get their first win of the season.

The three points not only will send them up the table but can also be the start of a run where they could pick up more wins and get as far away from relegation as possible.

Dyche knows that the new owners will make a decision on his future and if he fails to get the right results, he could end up losing his job.
