Armando Broja Everton debut close as ‘significant’ update emerges
Everton striker Armando Broja is hoping to make his Everton debut in November potentially against Brentford and not West Ham, according to the Athletic.
The news outlet reported on 3 October that the Albanian has made a “significant” step towards full recovery from his Achilles injury.
The 23-year-old Chelsea loanee has begun light training and the Toffees are not keen on rushing him back into action.
Armando Broja will be hoping to hit the ground running at Everton once he’s fit
The club are doing the right thing by giving Broja all the time he needs rather than expecting him to be back sooner.
He’s dealt with injury issues even before moving to Goodison Park and that does tend to take a toll on a player’s body.
An Achilles setback is usually a long-term one so it’s come as no surprise that it has taken the Albania striker this long to return to training.
Sean Dyche will most probably be asked about it in his press conference later on 3 October and he’s expected to echo similar sentiments.
That said, he’ll also be looking for Broja to return to action as Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s struggles have seen the Toffees look toothless in the final third.

Hopefully, once fit, Broja will hit the ground running at Goodison Park and start scoring on a regular basis to take the pressure off the English striker.
