Everton advertise for new first-team coach as Sean Dyche sack call nailed on
Everton have published an advertisement in search of a new first-team performance analyst, which could imply security for Sean Dyche.
As shown on Training Ground Guru [8 October], the Toffees are looking to add to their existing coaching and analysis staff, who would supply information to Dyche from training sessions and matchdays.
The closing date for the role will come around quickly, with prospective candidates given until just 22 October to complete their applications, before an appointment is then made.
Everton hunt for new staff to work with Sean Dyche
Everton’s faith in Dyche has been further established in the past couple of weeks – firstly by the news of Dan Friedkin’s takeover agreement and his views on the manager; then the gradual improvement in results.
Now, it looks as if the backroom staff layout at Finch Farm is being bulked out to help serve Dyche better, and steer the Toffees towards a season devoid of a stressful survival battle ahead of next year’s move to Bramley-Moore Dock.
The robust style of play which served the club well towards the end of last season looks to be doubled down upon, and therefore a faithful backing of Dyche by the board – amid all the previous sack talk – appears to be the agenda in place.

Many who opposed the sack calls for the experienced boss have so far been unable to name a realistic candidate who can take Everton to the next level in the short term, which makes the current process seem a very sensible one.
Dyche needs the backing in all areas, and he has proven with the tools in position he can be the right man to have at the helm.
