Everton seal new appointment on rolling contract – Exclusive

Everton have hired Mark Quayle as their new academy national recruitment lead on a rolling contract, Goodison News understands.

The Toffees promoted Quayle from his position as lead scout for the 13-18 age group last week with him confirming the same on LinkedIn.

This change behind the scenes is part of the club’s larger strategy and they’re also looking to bring in new faces, given their search for a hire a performance analyst for the first team.

Everton hire Mark Qualye on a permanent basis

Goodison News has been told that while the contract is understood to be a permanent one, it has no fixed end date.

Also, Goodison News understands it’s a written agreement that will continue until one party gives notice to terminate it.

Quayle joined the Toffees back in 2017 as a scout and was at the club for three years.

He then spent a year at Arsenal where he served as their Northern Scout for 15/16s and was also the Head of Academy Recruitment at Morecambe.

However, in July 2023, he returned to Finch Farm and has been part of the Everton family ever since then.

In other Everton news, a first-team star who lost possession 13 times in the Newcastle draw will be axed by Sean Dyche for the Ipswich Town game.
