Sean Dyche will be ‘buzzing’ after what Jordan Pickford did for Everton v West Ham
Dave Watson believes Sean Dyche will be “buzzing” with Jordan Pickford after an excellent performance for Everton against West Ham.
The Toffees travelled to the London Stadium on Saturday 9 November and came away with a point, their fourth Premier League draw of the season.
Although the forward line weren’t at their best, the England international goalkeeper was on top form as he kept a clean sheet in a top showing.
This performance caught the eye of former Three Lions goalkeeper coach Watson on The Football Fill In with Ben Foster (12 November).
He said: “Goalie’s on top, Pickford, amazing save, Dyche will be absolutely buzzing. For Everton, Pickford, Dyche, best result of the week for them.”

The 30-year-old has been an ever-present for the Toffees for many years and his performances typically haven’t dropped below a top level.
The ex-Sunderland man proved this with his performance in East London as he halted the home side from getting on the scoresheet.

Ultimately, this helped to secure a point for Dyche’s side that may have otherwise got away from them and resulted in back-to-back defeats.
In a season where survival in the Premier League is necessary ahead of a move to the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium, these sorts of performances are going to be key.

The Toffees’ boss may be coming under fire from some supporters but is certainly helped by the performances of his best players.
There is no doubt that his goalkeeper is one of them and is deserving of all the praise he gets.
