Dominic Calvert-Lewin fed up with Sean Dyche at Everton
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is fed up with Sean Dyche’s brand of football at Everton, Tony Scott has suggested.
The Liverpool Echo journalist ripped the playing style under Dyche into shreds and dubbed the Toffees as “predictable”.
Scott acknowledged Calvert-Lewin’s body language has been poor, but believes that is because he is not happy with the football on display at Goodison Park.
“They’re so predictable, Everton,” Scott said on the Royal Blue podcast [27 November].
“Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s body language isn’t the best at the moment, we can all agree on that.
“But, you can just see in his heart of hearts he’s fed up with this type of football, he’s fed up with it.”

Scott’s criticism of Dyche’s playing style is understandable, but there is no denying that Calvert-Lewin’s performances this season have left much to be desired.
The England international only has two goals and an assist to show for the 12 Premier League starts he has made for the Merseyside-based club.
It is worth noting that the striker’s current contract runs out at the end of the season and it is hard not to feel that has affected his performances.
With the player allowed to negotiate a pre-contract with foreign clubs from January, he seems to be attracting significant transfer interest.

AC Milan have been credited with an interest in taking the former Sheffield United man to Italy, while Roma has also been mentioned [TEAMtalk].
The 27-year-old could also stay in the Premier League, with Newcastle eyeing a move for him [TEAMtalk].
Everton, though, remain hopeful of convincing him to put pen to paper on a fresh contract.
