Everton get Armando Broja update ahead of Manchester United clash
Everton will take on Manchester United in the Premier League this Sunday, but Sean Dyche will surely unlikely be able to rely on Armando Broja once again.
The Toffees are set to travel to Old Trafford on 1 December, and the Red Devils will be looking to make a statement against the Blues in Ruben Amorim’s second game in the English top flight.
Everton have struggled this season, sitting 15th in the league table, and Dyche has been under pressure for a while now to turn the tide at Goodison.
The English manager has had a tough time getting the best out of the players at his disposal, and one of the main issues at the Toffees has been their lack of threat up front.
Dyche has relied on Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but the Englishman has been missing his shooting boots in the current campaign.
The former Burnley head coach lacks quality options for the number nine position, with Beto failing to live up to expectations and Chelsea loanee Broja sidelined since the beginning of the season.
Armando Broja slowly making Everton comeback
The Goodison faithful have some encouraging news to look forward to with Broja returning to action, featuring for the Under-21s on 25 November in the Premier League Cup against Watford.
Everton’s youth team have to contend with Nottingham Forest next on 29 November, and the Merseyside outfit have confirmed via the club website [28 November] that the Albanian is expected to get more minutes in that next fixture.

It’s hard to imagine the 23-year-old making the senior team squad for the trip to Manchester if he does feature for the young Blues just a couple of days beforehand.
The Toffees have scored just 10 goals in the league in the current campaign, and the 0-0 draw against Brentford on 23 November highlighted their issues in the final third as the Merseysiders couldn’t find the back of the net against 10 men in the second half.
While Broja hasn’t done anything of note at Everton yet, the Goodison faithful are undoubtedly looking for something to change in the starting lineup and maybe the Albanian can provide the quality the team desperately desire in the attack.
Unfortunately, that is unlikely to come against Manchester United.
