Everton transfer news emerges as The Friedkin Group advantage revealed

Beto is Torino’s favoured target to bolster their attack in the January transfer window, although The Friedkin Group’s arrival at Everton could hinder their plans, according to Tuttosport.

The Turin-based newspaper reported via their website on Sunday (15 December) that the Toffees have opened up to the idea of selling Beto in January.

Beto, though, is also wanted at AS Roma and they would have an advantage if they stepped up their interest in the striker as they are also owned by Dan Friedkin and co.

With the season underway and the January transfer window just around the corner, Friedkin must hit the ground running at Goodison Park.

Offloading Beto to Italy could be one of the US billionaire’s first acts as the Toffees owner. He could use the Roma connection to put some money in the Merseyside-based club’s coffers by selling the striker to Roma.

Torino reportedly want to sign the 26-year-old on a loan-to-buy agreement, but Sean Dyche’s side would rather sell him. This is where Friedkin’s ownership of Roma could come in handy.
