Beto has the chance to make Sean Dyche look silly if he leaves Everton for a European giant.
The Guinea-Bissau has been featured sparingly at Goodison Park since joining from Udinese in 2023 with Dominic Calvert-Lewin regularly favoured.
The 26-year-old has made just one Premier League start so far this campaign and as a result, could be keen on a move away from the Toffees.
This has sparked transfer rumours to various sides but the latest twist could make Dyche look silly if a deal goes through.

Despite scoring just seven goals across 48 appearances on Merseyside, the striker has many parties interested in his signature.
Inter Milan are the newest side to show an interest as Simone Inzaghi looks for a striker alternative to help reinforce their attack in January [Spazio Inter].
Torino had also shown interest in the Toffees forward but switched their focus to Marko Arnautovic [Tuttosport] which could see I Nerazzurri make an offer for Beto.
Given that the Italian giants have won the Serie A and have reached a Champions League final in recent years, a move to San Siro would represent a serious step up for the ex-Udinese man.
If the Guinean can join Inter and hit the ground running, it would be clear proof that Dyche didn’t hand him enough opportunities at Goodison.
Given that his main striker competition Calvert-Lewin has scored just two Premier League goals this season, Beto must feel that his chance won’t ever come at Goodison.
As a result, a move to play for one of the best-known sides in Europe would hand him an opportunity to prove the Toffees boss wrong.
