The US investment group led by Dan Friedkin will take Farhad Moshiri’s 94.1 per cent stake in the Toffees once all the finalities are completed.
The Times reporter revealed that the Blues will receive the keys for the new stadium in the next few days after the takeover is completed.
New era on the cards for Everton fans
The takeover and new stadium represent the beginning of an exciting new era for the Blues as Farhad Moshiri’s dismal spell in the director’s box comes to an end.
After constant backroom turmoil, points deductions and relegation battles, Toffees supporters will be glad to see the back of Moshiri.
The Friedkin takeover has brought the feelgood factor back to Goodison Park in the club’s final season at the stadium.

That positive aura must be continued into the new stadium at Bramley Moore Dock as the AS Roma owners bring the Blues into that new era on and off the pitch.
Focus must now turn to ensuring that the final season at the Grand Old Lady is a positive one with five months left at the old stadium.
Then the club can move into their new home ready to move forward on and off the field.
