Everton relegation prediction made by supercomputer after Bournemouth loss
Everton are predicted to narrowly escape relegation with a 17th-placed finish in the Premier League this season, according to Opta Analyst.
The Toffees are enduring a wretched season so far under the stewardship of Sean Dyche and they look all but set to be involved in yet another relegation battle if he remains in charge.
That is according to a supercomputer powered by Opta, which has the Toffees predicted to finish on just 38 points in 17th place with a 14.79 per cent chance of relegation.
Everton destined for another Premier League relegation battle
If results continue to go against Everton, it may only be a matter of time until TFG are forced into sacking Dyche [The Esk], and he’ll find it hard to have any real complaints.
While a supercomputer can’t predict the entire course of a season, it seems very likely that it could prove accurate if results and performances were to continue at Goodison Park.
Under Dyche, the Toffees have shown little to no signs of progression and if anything, it has been the complete opposite.
Given the stature of the club and even the players at Dyche’s disposal, it’s wholly unacceptable for Everton to be enrolled in yet another relegation dogfight but unless a change is made imminently, it appears to be a reality.

There are of course other factors that have played a part in the severe underperformance this season, but they all stem back to the manager, who can count his lucky stars that he is still in a job.
However, that could change in the coming weeks if negative results and performances are to continue under his guidance or lack of.
