Everton destined for relegation unless Friedkins act now amid latest development

Everton appear to be sleepwalking towards relegation and the current availability of Graham Potter should be enough to force TFG into making a decision on Sean Dyche.

The Toffees are enduring yet another horrid season and the stewardship of Dyche has played a daunting role in that with the ex-Burnley boss believed to be under serious pressure to keep his job and rightfully so.

Watching his style of play has become somewhat of a chore as opposed to a hobby and with the availability of Potter, The Friedkin Group need to show their ambition for the club and make a change.

Potter has been tipped for the West Ham job [Sean Whetstone] and if Everton keep showing their reluctance to make a change, they are going to be forced to face the consequences of missing out on a manager that would be a perfect fit on Merseyside.

Sean Dyche needs to be sacked at Everton

Since his appointment, there has been little to no signs of progression on Merseyside and if anything, he has spearheaded the Toffees’ regression over the past few seasons and it’s, in all honesty, a travesty that he is still in the job.

His comments made after the Bournemouth game were embarrassing and if Everton are to revive their season, it simply can’t be with him in charge.

Potter has been out of work since leaving Chelsea and having showcased his worth at Brighton, he would be a perfect fit to turn fortunes around at Goodison Park but the longer TFG take to make a decision, the harder the project becomes and relegation seems like a real possibility.

Albeit it has been a similar feeling at West Ham, they look set to make the decision in a bid to better their hopes of success while Everton are sitting on their own hands.

Failure to bring in a manager like Potter or even attempt to would be a major oversight from TFG and will do nothing but increase tensions on Merseyside.
