Jack Harrison Everton update shared as Leeds recall stance emerges
Jack Harrison is set to remain at Everton on loan from Leeds United for the remainder of the season, according to Graham Smyth.
The journalist reported for the Yorkshire Evening Post (7 January) has reported that Harrison’s parent club have no intentions of recalling the winger for the second half of the season.
Furthermore, any deal to terminate the loan spell would need to be agreed to by all parties and the Toffees have shown no suggestions that they are keen to do so, despite his poor form this term.
Jack Harrison set to remain at Everton
Despite an initially solid loan period with the Toffees last term, Harrison has failed to replicate that form this term and has no goals or assists from 17 Premier League appearances.
With this in mind, it is somewhat surprising that the Blues seem content with the spell continuing until the end of the campaign.
However, with speculation over the future of Sean Dyche at Goodison Park, there could be hopes that the 28-year-old could rediscover his previous form under a different manager.

Furthermore, the current Championship leaders will not be worrying about getting the winger back with any urgency as he is a big earner at Elland Road and they seem to be coping just fine without his services this term.
It is up to Harrison to prove what he can do now though, especially as the Blues try to save themselves from relegation.
By the summer, his parent club could also be in the top flight and with that in mind, the winger has to prove he does have the quality to perform in the Premier League otherwise he could easily find himself in a precarious position by the summer.
