Everton transfers: Yunus Akgun to pass medical as update emerges

Yunus Akgun is expected to pass his Everton medical despite previous injury issues, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that the 24-year-old Turkey international’s fitness record is not something that would worry clubs looking to sign him.

It’s understood that the Toffees have already made a bid to sign the Galatasaray winger which is an initial loan with the obligation to buy. [Fanatik, 7 January]

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Akgun: “Akgun has picked up a handful of injuries in past seasons but all seem very mild.

Wouldn’t expect his medical to be an issue, barring unforeseen issues.

I think it’s not something any club signing him should worry about either.

Everton could do with Yunus Akgun in their ranks

The Toffees do need a wide attacker and the Turkey international seems to be a good fit for them.

He’s not only a goal scorer but can also create chances and will undoubtedly be part of the strongest eleven at the club this season.
