Everton news: West Brom ace Tom Fellows development emerges
West Brom attacker Tom Fellows may have a higher risk of injury initially should he move to Everton, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that as the 21-year-old will be moving to a higher-intensity league, the Toffees would need to be careful about the physical and mental load.
It’s understood that the Baggies would demand a big fee if they were to part ways with the English winger. [TEAMtalk]
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Fellows: “Having gauged his fitness situation, Everton need to be careful about the physical and mental load as he makes that transition to top-flight football.
“The key will be bringing him along gradually and allowing him to adapt.
“It’s likely that the risk of injury will be high in the first few months as he adapts to the rigours of top-flight football.“
Everton must sign proven top-flight players
While Fellows is an impressive talent who could be a first-team regular in a few years for a top-flight side, he is still very raw.
The Toffees need someone who’s experienced in playing top-flight games regularly and can make an instant impact.

David Moyes is likely to make a few suggestions himself as he’s been tasked to get the team out of relegation danger.
In other Everton news, the Toffees have submitted a bid to secure the services of a “wonderful” winger in January.
