Everton transfer round-up: New midfielder eyed, Calvert-Lewin exit twist

Everton are set to be active in the January transfer window as David Moyes has been tasked to guide the team to safety.

The Toffees, via their club website on 17 January, confirmed that they have been cleared of any outstanding PSR charges.

As there have been several players linked with a move to the Merseyside outfit in the January transfer window, Goodison News has rounded up all the news from 17 January.

It’s understood that the club are exploring a loan deal and that could offset the money Chelsea will demand to take Armando Broja back.

Along with Chukwuemeka, Ben Chilwell and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are also on the radar of the Merseyside outfit.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin will not be joining Atalanta

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been linked with an exit from the club in January.

However, while a move to another club has not been ruled out, Goodison News can exclusively reveal that Atalanta will not be where the English striker ends up.

Despite sending a representative to negotiate a deal [Alan Myers, 12 January], the Seria A outfit will not be securing the 27-year-old’s services.
