Friedkins ready to seal brand new multi-million Everton transfer
Everton are one step away from signing Angelo Preciado from Sparta Prague, according to Tuttosport.
The Italian newspaper reported via their website on 27 January that the 26-year-old is set to move to Goodison Park for £5million.
They added that the Toffees have been “very active” in the transfer market since The Friedkin Group bought the club from Farhad Moshiri.
Everton to bring Angelo Preciado to Goodison Park
Preciado is primarily a right-sided midfielder, but his versatility allows him to play further forward or even as a right-back.
It is no secret that Everton are in the market for a new right winger during the ongoing winter transfer window after Jesper Lindstrom and Jack Harrison struggled to impress in the first half of the season.
The Goodison Park outfit have been heavily linked with a move to sign Ernest Nuamah from Lyon, but that deal now appears to be unlikely [Alan Myers].
David Moyes’ side, though, are not short of options at right-back, as they have Ashley Young, Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson in their ranks.

However, Moyes tellingly deployed centre-back Jake O’Brien at right-back in the 1-0 win against Brighton on Saturday, 25 January.
Preciado could provide the veteran manager with options in both of those positions with a single strike, that too at the price of just £5m.
Only problem, though, is that the Ecuador international is currently sidelined with a meniscus injury.
In other Everton news, the Toffees are also lurking to sign a Premier League defender this window.
