Everton ready another late transfer after Carlos Alcaraz
Everton are trying to sign a striker before the transfer deadline, according to the Daily Mirror.
The report claimed on 3 February that Carlos Alcaraz is set to complete his loan move from Flamengo on deadline day.
It also states that an attacker is on the agenda before the window shuts at 11:00 pm as David Moyes looks to strengthen his side.
The Blues have eased their relegation worries in recent weeks with three successive Premier League wins, but only have Beto currently available.
Everton need a forward before the deadline
If the Toffees are to avoid relegation they need to add firepower to their squad before the deadline comes around.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Beto have underwhelmed, with just six Premier League strikes between them so far this campaign.
The Blues are nine points clear of the drop zone as a result of a tremendous upturn in form under the Scot which has seen them beat Brighton, Tottenham, and Leicester.

However, if they do not bring in a goalscorer they could be dragged right back into a survival battle with only Ipswich and Southampton scoring less in the top flight.
Any incoming probably depends on Armando Broja’s future and whether Chelsea allows the loan to be terminated after his constant injury issues.
If Moyes’s side can come to a deal with the Stamford Bridge side, it may open the door for a new attacker to come to Goodison Park on loan.
In other Everton news, Tony Bellew was furious with a “disgrace” he saw during the win over Leicester.
