Moyes axes Gueye, three changes – Everton predicted XI v Crystal Palace
David Moyes is expected to make few changes to his Everton starting line-up for the Premier League clash with Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The Blues salvaged a draw in the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park against Liverpool (12 February) with a last-gasp James Tarkowski strike.
The Scotsman will be looking to take that momentum from that result into the contest at Selhurst Park (15 February) and come away with victory.
David Moyes to make changes v Crystal Palace
It is unlikely that the Scotsman rotates his starting XI too much given the positive result that his selection earned against the Premier League leaders on Wednesday.
Jordan Pickford is expected to retain his place between the sticks as he has been excellent and is a key reason why the Blues sit ten points above the relegation zone.
The back four is predicted to stay the same as the Merseyside derby with Jake O’Brien, James Tarkowski, Jarrad Branthwaite and Vitaly Myklolenko all keeping their places in the starting line-up with Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson absent again.
With Orel Mangala absent, James Garner is expected to keep his starting berth in midfield with Tim Iroegbunam partnering him rather than Idrissa Gueye after a brilliant cameo against the Reds where he notched an assist for the late equaliser.
Carlos Alcaraz might get the nod for his full debut in the number ten role with Abdoulaye Doucoure suspended following his red card for the chaotic scenes after the final whistle.

On the flanks, Jesper Lindstrom and Jack Harrison will offer support to the Argentine with Iliman Ndiaye forced off in tears with a knee injury against the Anfield outfit.
Moyes needs Beto to step up again after Liverpool display
Beto was excellent in the draw with Liverpool as he scored a well worked opener and played a crucial role in the equaliser after winning a tussle with Ibrahima Konate that stopped the Reds defender from heading the ball away.
Moyes needs his number nine to have another solid performance if his team are to secure victory in London on Saturday with Dominic Calvert-Lewis, Youssef Chermiti and Armandro Broja all expected to miss the contest.
