Bramley Moore Dock set to usher in new era

With Farhad Moshiri’s departure from Goodison Park, there was renewed hope around L4 regarding the prospects of the Toffees this season.

Sean Dyche had the Blues toiling in a relegation battle but the English manager’s sacking has turned out to be the right call by TFG.

Moyes’ arrival has seen the Merseyside outfit go on an unbeaten run, something that was a rare sight under the former Burnley head coach.

Despite some significant fitness issues, the Scottish head coach has managed to bring the best out of the squad at his disposal.

Moyes has been left with Beto as the only fit natural striker as others contend with their injuries.

The Guinea-Bissau forward scored against Crystal Palace on Saturday (15 February) at Selhurst Park, making it four goals in his last three English top-flight fixtures.

Having opened a 13-point gap with the relegation zone, the Toffees have all but confirmed their place in the Premier League for next season.

Unless something drastic happens, the Merseysiders will go into Bramley Moore Dock with their status intact.
