Everton news round-up: Man United postponement update, Leeds chief wanted
Everton have been transformed since David Moyes was reappointed at Goodison Park.
The Blues are unbeaten in their last five Premier League matches under the Scotsman and host Manchester United on Saturday (22 February) looking to extend their buffer to the relegation zone.
With survival basically ensured on the pitch, focus can begin to switch to off-field matters, with summer transfers to be identified and backroom roles to be filled.
Here, Goodison News rounds up the latest news and rumours from Merseyside on 20 February.

Everton make approach for ‘man of the moment’
Juanlu Sanchez has been dubbed as the “man of the moment” in Seville and Everton have been linked with a summer move for the Spaniard.
Mundo Deportivo reported (19 February) that the Blues have approached Sevilla for the 21-year-old right-back, who can also play as a winger.
The Blues failed with a last-minute bid for the youngster on deadline day earlier this month and face competition from Brighton, RB Leipzig, and Galatasaray for his services.
Everton linked with Watford summer swoop
Everton have been linked with a move for Watford attacking midfielder Giorgi Chakvetadze in the summer transfer window.
A report from FootballLeagueWorld (20 February) claimed that the Blues are set to reignite their interest in the 25-year-old.
The Georgian has been bestowed with the Player of the Year award in 2018 and has also been awarded the Order of Honour in his home country.
Friedkin Group CEO twist emerges at Everton
The Friedkin Group wants to appoint Leeds United chief executive officer Angus Kinnear as Everton’s new CEO.
However, according to The Athletic (20 February), the Merseysiders would have to pay compensation as the 47-year-old is under contract until 2026.
The report claims that the Toffees’ pursuit of Kinnear could be further complicated by the Whites’ Championship promotion push.

Everton v Manchester United postponement update
Everton are set to host Manchester United on Saturday (22 February) amid a weather warning from the Met Office.
A yellow warning has been issued for North West-Wales for February (21 February) which will extend on Sunday (23 February) to the entire United Kingdom bar London and other Southern cities.
However, there are no adverse warnings for Saturday, meaning that the clash should not be affected by the conditions.
