Everton to be ‘major Premier League force’ after what’s going to happen

Everton have been predicted to be a major force in the Premier League after what’s going to happen at the Merseyside outfit.

The Friedkin Group (TFG) arrived at Goodison Park after taking over from Farhad Moshiri in December 2024 and have since made several changes.

Sean Dyche was sacked and replaced by David Moyes in what has been an astute decision by the new American owners.

More developments are expected at the start of next season, which could potentially turn the Toffees’ fortunes going forward.

Everton to be major force after Bramley Moore Dock move

Bramley Moore Dock will turn the Blues into a significant force in the English top flight, Peter Martin says.

The PLZ Soccer journalist has hailed the Merseyside outfit’s new stadium and is mesmerised by it.

With the Toffees in their final season at Goodison Park, Martin expects big things to come from them in the coming years.

Speaking on PLZ Soccer (20 February), the Scottish journalist said: “Great for what Moyes is doing. It’s a story that will unfold in a fantastic new stadium. I’ve been watching it constantly when I go down to Liverpool on a regular basis to see it evolve.

“Wow. I think Everton will be a major force in English football.”

David Moyes gives Goodison Park perfect farewell

Moyes has already managed the perfect farewell at Goodison after taking a point from Liverpool in what was the final Merseyside derby at the historic stadium.

James Tarkowski’s equaliser against Arne Slot’s team in the final minutes of the game culminated in what was one of the most memorable nights for the Blues’ supporters.

The fans haven’t had much to cheer for this season, but the Scottish manager’s arrival has changed the mood around the Merseyside outfit.

After enduring boring football under Dyche, the Goodison faithful finally see their squad’s true potential under Moyes.

The Scotsman has managed to bring the best out of the Toffees’ attack despite only having one fit natural striker in Beto at his disposal.

With the move to Bramley Moore Dock, the Blues will undoubtedly have more funds to spare, which will only benefit them in the long run as they will be able to spend more money to reinforce their squad and sign better players.

TFG must ensure they don’t repeat Farhad Moshiri’s errors to take the Merseyside outfit to new heights as they usher in a new era.
